becuase i'm thinking about straigtening my hair before going to the shop to get extensions put in.

No you do not use water to put them in your hair has to be dry and you really don't have to straighten your hair before you go because they will do that for you they actually straighten as they go

I doubt there would be. It depends on the kind of extensions you get though. There's the kind you glue in, and the kind you have to get woven in. If your hair is really curly, I think you would want to straighten your hair before you go, anyway, so you can see what length the extensions should be to look the best. If your hair is curly, and the extensions are straight, it wouldn't look so hot. ; )
