Your hair is not too much different in length. It is pretty both ways.

It really depends where you go. Real hair will be more expensive but you can style it with products and heat. Synthetics are cheaper but you are limited to how you can style it - you can't use any heat at all because most are plastic and will melt!

Well, you look to have very straight hair, so growing it out shouldn't take that long. It averages 1/2 inch per month. So in 1/2 year you'll have it 3 inches longer, which is pretty long.

I would say synthetic extensions, if you do decide to get them, would be fine for your hair. It doesn't look like you need to curl them or anything, and synthetic are usually stick straight, which will go with you hair nicely. I'd go to Sally Beauty and see what they've got!

Your hair is beautiful. Don't get synthetic hair. It's not good hair at all and it's does not look natural. It's used more for braiding....not weaving. The human hair is natural and will blend well with your hair. It's easy to take care of and will last longer. It should cost around $150 to get it done. I have been wearing extensions for years and it's worth every penny.
