Clip in or glue in extensions for short hair?

I'm thinking about ordering a full set of black extensions for my hair, more for the look than just length. my natural hair falls a little past my shoulder. so, should i get clip-in or glue-in extensions? i've heard good and bad things about both. the main thing is, i want it to look pretty natural. i'm not looking for something permanent, with school and such, so the idea of clip-ins appeals to me more...but with the length of my hair, i'm afraid the clips will look bulky or something. but i hear glue-ins are a pain, and i'm not that good with hair. any suggestions?

oh my gosh....i have short hair and just for fun i wanted to put in some extensions...so i put in glue ins. NOT A GOOD IDEA. they got pretty itchy after a couple days, and so in the shower i ripped them off. that hurt like a mother too....and i was left with huge glue clumps all over my head. and they were sticky too. it was disgusting. i felt SO dirty. so i had to go to the beauty store and buy some OIL for my hair and a special shampoo. it got SOME of it out but it was still such a pain in the ***. and i still have like one or two little clumps in my hair..and this was like a month and a half ago! definitely do clip ins....its fool proof too.

If the clips are put in right, they won't be bulky. It may be wierd at first thought because it's much heavier than your normal hair. I think clip in ones are great. i personally have them. I have the real human hair ones so I can curl and straighten them. They are amazing. And I can take them out and put them in as often as I please. I got mine on ebay and I think it was about $100 for pretty long ones. It was a great deal. I say go for it! Plus they are great if you have school dances or whatever and you want a big up do but don't have the long hair for it. I have hair a little longer than my chin and I had an amazing up do for my wedding and no one could tell that wasn't my real hair!

Glue ons... Some people like them some don't. My teacher had them and she looked good! But You can always cut them off. Clip-ons are what Ashley Tisdale likes because she likes getting them in different colors. If you get glue-on like my teacher, and you would like to color it like you could with real hair, get the ones that are "real" hair from other people that donated it... Relax, ask your stylist if it was was checked. Or if he or she is not sure, ask him/her if he/she has any recommendations. I might get that. My mother is a hair stylist. Hope this helps. %26lt;3

Don't get glued in ones. The clip ons seem like your best bet. But if you don't get clip ons get fusion extensions.
