What's The Difference Between A Weave And Getting Hair Extensions?

The term Weave comes from getting a piece of hair "weaved" into you own hair, this is done by having a small corn row braid which is also the same as very small skinny french braid put into your own real hair, hair you buy comes already sewn onto a weft which is then placed against that braid in your own hair and sewn to the braid of your own hair. I think they started calling them extenstions because there are other ways to attach the hair to your head now besides the tradtional weaving method, like clip ins or with glue.

Weave is basically weaved (sewn) into your hair, or glued, and last longer. Hair extensions are like pony tails or hair that can be clipped in.
