no. U can put a track or two of a hair extension that's a different color then your hair. Go for the back of your hair though easier to blend it in.

How were you planning on attaching the hair, Braids, clips, string, glue?

The only rule i would follow with adding extension track to your own hair would be to make sure they are the same texture as your hair.

okay good if your going to your stylist to get it done, but they put some in mine once(I wont do it again) and they braided my hair and kinduv stiched it in there(dont get them glued) lol Im not really sure what they did but it looked great....but if you perfer extensions then dying your hair then I say go for it, because them dying your hair is expensive
